Firebird Farms is located outside of Ashland, Oregon. The primary purpose of Firebird Farms is to raise and sell yaks, yak products, and nutritious yak meat. The objective of the farm is to raise quality animals with exquisite fiber, size, temperament, and personality. With over 80 head, these multipurpose animals offer lots of possibilities for small farms and ranches. Revolution Design Group was hired by Firebird Farms to create a new brand experience, including new packaging labels for yak products and a website with e-commerce capabilities.

We provided Firebird Farms with three distinct brand options to determine which felt like the best match for representing the farm and its owner. We designed the homepage, all model pages, and the mobile website. We constructed the website architecture and gave guidance and expertise on copy and search engine optimization. Our development team built the carts with functionality to purchase fiber, meat, and other products. We categorized the entire herd to provide an entry for each yak that could be added to a buyer’s farm.

In addition to the website, we created packaging labels for meat and bone broth to be carried in regional grocery stores, and designed trade marketing advertisements to support the products’ sales. With our experience with working with farmers, farms, and ranches around the state of Oregon, this was a wonderful opportunity to get to work on one of our biggest passions.
