The Bier Stein is a local restaurant and bottle shop that carries hundreds of beers and ciders for visitors to enjoy, along with a robust menu of pub food. Located on Willamette Street, it draws visitors from the University of Oregon, downtown, and South Eugene. Many make the trip just to take in the beer selections. An ever-rotating tap list and special events centered around beer tastings and new product launches offer many reasons to stop by. Recently, the Bier Stein has expanded their outdoor seating. In 2021, Revolution Design Group was brought on to create a distinct brand for The Bier Stein, including an updated logo, marketing materials, apparel, and website.

The new logo and mark maintain the Bier Stein itself as the primary graphical element with updated typography and visual lockup. With the new logo, we created brand tears for the client to select how they wanted their restaurant to look and feel. From these brand tears, we crafted design concepts for the website and marketing materials. In keeping with the fun nature of the restaurant and bottle shop, we illustrated characters to feature as part of the branding. These are integrated into the website, apparel, and marketing materials.

The website ties all of the branding together into a cohesive experience. The website includes a tap list, menu, bottle list, ordering, and a robust reservation system. An online cart was built to support future merchandise and product sales. The design and functionality of the website elevate the guest experience.
