The Next Evolution of Revolution
A New Name for Revolution Design Group
Revolution Design Group (RDG) is no more. That’s because in 2024, we’ve become something new. Allow us to re-introduce ourselves – we are now: RDG Brands. After more than 15 years in business, the work at RDG encompasses so much more than design. RDG Brands represents a shift in the client landscape and a growing need for integrated strategies across all platforms — a demand we’re built to supply.
In addition to being retail packaging experts with national and international clients like Yogi Tea and Sigma Foodservice, RDG has uniquely positioned itself to deliver hundreds of high-performance websites, impactful marketing campaigns, and expert-crafted brands for a wide portfolio of clients across the industries of healthcare, food and beverage, automotive, manufacturing, government, and more.
The tools for driving results have changed, requiring an integrated approach across web, digital, and print. Brand consistency is more important than ever, fostering important connections with consumers whose needs have also evolved. In today’s marketing environment, it’s not enough to run an ad or rely on a revolving door of blatant promotions. One study found that 80% of consumers are more likely to make a purchase when brands offer personalized experiences. Furthermore, Nielsen reports that 92% of consumers trust recommendations from friends and family over other forms of advertising.
The numbers don’t lie. Creating a consistent brand experience across every touchpoint is vital to driving client success. Today, we’re focused on creating an authentic experience for clients and consumers alike through expert-crafted brands – whether it be through a website, storefront, catalog, a series of emails, or business cards.
Our Work
Firebird Farms
A woman-owned yak ranch and breeder in Southern Oregon, the ethical and sustainable Firebird Farms engaged RDG to design and develop an authentic brand focused on the farm’s ethically raised animals, simplicity, beauty, and adventure. RDG harnessed Firebird Farms’ extensive yak knowledge to build out an SEO-powerhouse destination for all things yak-related where enthusiasts could venture. See the full case study here.
Slocum Orthopedics
When Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine approached RDG, we knew we had to pay homage to their longstanding legacy while leading them towards a renewed brand presence to stay connected, competitive, and in tune with the community they serve. Slocum approached RDG to design a new website reflective of its continued mission for excellence and efficiency. Today, RDG acts as the medical practice’s in-house marketing agency, managing everything from patient education materials to Google ad words, and more. See more here.
Oregon Parks & Recreation Department
Why aren’t Oregon State Parks being enjoyed by everyone and anyone, as nature intended? Oregon Parks & Recreation Department (OPRD) posed this very important question and collaborated with RDG Brands in pursuit of the answers. Together we set out to better understand the complex barriers underserved communities face when exploring the great outdoors. RDG worked with OPRD to conduct in-depth community surveys to peel back complex layers of social, economic, and structural barriers that exist between underserved communities and outdoor recreation. What’s Next – RDG Brands Launches Its Own
After more than a decade of defining and working with both local and national brands and businesses, RDG Brands is branching out with a lifestyle brand all its own. Combining two things we’re most passionate about – coffee and great branding – Sparrow Nest Coffee will open in April/May of 2024 in the historic Miner Building in downtown Eugene. Inspired by the people who live, work, shop, and play downtown, Sparrow Nest Coffee aims to serve top-notch coffee and espresso drinks in an urban and art-centric environment to encourage important conversations, foster connection, and continue building a community of creatives.
